ViMa is a WhatsApp-first career coach for Indian corporate professionals. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect from you, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number. This is how we send your outputs back to you and recognise you on subsequent messages.
• The content you share in chat. This includes your resume(s), LinkedIn URL, job descriptions, hiring-manager details, and any text or voice messages you send. We store the extracted text from any documents you upload.
• Your conversation history with ViMa. Messages to and from you are stored so the coach has context on subsequent turns.
• Payment metadata. When you buy a 60-day access pass, Razorpay handles the actual payment. We store the payment link id, the Razorpay payment id, the amount, and the activation/expiry timestamps. We never see or store your card or bank details.

How we use it

• To generate the career-coaching output you asked for — a tailored resume, an interview prep kit, or a coaching reply.
• To remember where you are in a multi-step conversation, so we don't re-ask questions you've already answered.
• To send you the access-pass payment link, and to unlock your account once Razorpay confirms a successful payment.
• To improve ViMa over time — for example, to understand which kinds of responses are most useful. Any analysis we do here is on aggregated, anonymised data; we do not look at individual conversations except when investigating a specific bug or abuse report.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) and Supabase Storage, hosted in the AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Connections to Supabase use TLS. Generated PDFs are kept in a private storage bucket and delivered to you via short-lived signed URLs over WhatsApp.

Who we share it with

We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising. The only third parties that touch your data are the providers we need to actually run ViMa:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — receives the conversation context required to generate your resume / prep kit / coaching reply.
• Gupshup — delivers WhatsApp messages on India's official WhatsApp Business API.
• Razorpay — processes your access-pass payment.
• AWS Transcribe — converts your voice notes to text, only when you send a voice message.

Your choices

• Stop sharing: simply stop messaging ViMa. We won't send you anything you didn't ask for.
• Delete your data: email mahajanvipul@gmail.com from any address with the subject line Delete my ViMa data and include the WhatsApp phone number you used. We'll permanently delete your records within 7 working days and reply to confirm.
• Ask what we have: the same email address works for a copy of the data we hold on you.

Children

ViMa is built for working professionals. It is not intended for, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and message any active users on WhatsApp. The date at the top of this page is the last update.
